CONCERNS IN SENATE OVER NON ARRIVAL OF MINISTERIAL LIST.

As the much awaited ministerial list was yet to be submitted to the National Assembly for
deliberations at Wednesday’s plenary by President Muhammadu Buhari, concerns were raised
following Senator Godswill Akpabio who while raising an urgent National importance,
reminded Senate President out of curiosity, that President Buhari repeatedly assured
Nigerians that the list of Ministerial nominees would be forwarded to the National Assembly
for consideration on or before the end of September.
The move attracted ‘mockery’ mostly from PDP Senators,
but Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn N’allah in defense
urged the Senators to be calm.
He added that what President Buhari said was on or before
the end of September and giving President Buhari the
privilege of fair hearing, September has up to 12 o’clock
midnight today.
“I want to remind all of us that the end of September still
has up to 12 o’clock midnight,” he said.
