Are these people for real or do they think Nigerians are
blind? Amaechi clean? God help my country.

Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress
has insisted that the immediate past governor of the
state, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, remained untainted with
corruption.
The state APC urged President Muhammadu Buhari to
disregard “desperate” efforts by the current Governor of
the State, Chief Nyesom Wike, to tarnish Amaechi’s
image.
A statement signed by its State Chairman, Dr. Davies
Ibiamu Ikanya, and issued in Port Harcourt on Monday
said “We make bold to say that if there is any clean
and spotless former governor in Nigeria, that person is
Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CON.
“Anybody, who knows Amaechi well enough, will
readily testify that he is an honest, sincere, but
courageous gentleman, a first-class patriot, who is
ever ready to go the extra mile to see that Nigeria
becomes a better place for the present and future
generations.”
APC also described the documentary aired on the
private television as satanic and part of the state
governor’s propaganda war against Amaechi, adding
that Wike had earmarked billions of naira for his plot to
destroy the character of Amaechi.
“Other propaganda tools planned to be deployed in the
war against Amaechi include sponsored publications
such as advertorials, columns, editorials and Op-Ed
articles in major international, national and local print
media,” the state APC said.
