SARAKI'S TRAIL IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED'- Eziefe.

Elder statesman and former Anambra State governor, Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife has strongly
condemned the trial of Bukola Saraki.
He said the trial was politically motivated with deliberate attempt
to ruin the former Kwara governor’s political career.
Speaking with Vanguard on Tuesday, Chief Ezeife faulted the
Federal government in trying to destabilize the stability of the
country.
He said, “In the name of God Almighty, this country belongs to all
of us; it is not good for Nigeria to begin witch hunting with
impunity; I am not criticizing any government but let us free
Nigeria, Nigeria is for the blacks.
”If Saraki was the biggest thief, we did not know, why did the
government wait until he become the Senate president.
”All I am saying is that if Saraki is being removed today as the
Senate president, I don’t think he is being removed because of
corruption but because of politics”.
He also called on the media to mount a press unit that would fight
these unjust acts in the country.
