FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, is adamant he will continue in
his role at the world football governing body.
The 79-year-old is facing prosecution, for allegedly making
a “disloyal payment” of two million Swiss francs – around
£1.3m – to UEFA president, Michel Platini which was “at the
expense of FIFA.”
Blatter is also being investigated about a TV deal with Jack
Warner.
Despite calls for the embattled Swiss to step down, he has
made it clear he is going nowhere.
He reiterated that, “he had done nothing illegal or
improper,” after criminal proceedings were opened against
him last Friday by the Swiss Attorney General.
A site that looks at the good, the bad and even the sordid details of socio-political issues of all ramifications just the way they happen. Enjoy!
