FANI KAYODE DENIES RECEIVING 1.2BILLION FROM DASUKI.

The director, media and publicity of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign
Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said he
did not receive N1.7 billion from the office of the
National Security Adviser (NSA).
He disputed a report by an online newspaper
saying he benefited from the arms purchase
monies shared by ex-NSA Sambo Dasuki during
President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
In a statement yesterday, the former aviation
minister said as the spokesperson of Jonathan
campaign, he only received money on behalf of
the directorate of media and publicity from private
individuals and companies.
He said such monies were transferred into his
account by the director of finance of the
campaign and that the account was specifically
set up for the purpose of running the publicity
aspect of the campaign for the entire country.
