After every election comes tribunals set up to look into complains of irregularities and the sorts. its quiet customary for the incumbent to always root for his party members during this period as we clearly saw during past tenures.
The tribunals have begun sitting since, but this time around the incumbent president is clearly distancing himself from issues in the various tribunals all over the country whether it affects his party members or not. A lot of Nigerians are happy with this development, while major politicians are not happy as they expected the president to intervene in some cases.
The president's distance from anything that will taint his reputation is a good signal to the international community that sanity has come to the country and the masses are now nursing hope for a better tomorrow.
As i monitor situations, i can still hear the president's voice in my head during his inauguration when he made the famous declaration "i belong to everybody and i belong to nobody".
