Easier said than done in a country where influential
citizens can twist the law at will to their benefit.
Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on
Thursday, recommended life imprisonment for public
officials found guilty of corruption.
Amosun stated this while addressing the labour
movement in the state at the Government Secretariat,
Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, during a rally organized by the
Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC and the Nigeria
Labour Congress, NLC
The rally was aimed at promoting good governance and
to support the administration of President Muhammadu
Buhari.
